Tagging a note as #meeting automatically adds fields for attendees, date, and action items. Tagging text as #person creates a contact record that aggregates all references across the entire graph. This makes Tana feel like a hybrid between Roam Research and Airtable — the fluidity of outliner capture with the queryability of a database. Views (tables, calendars, kanban) can be built on any tag type, displaying structured data from across the note graph. Tana AI integrates Claude and GPT-4 to extract data into Supertag fields and summarize nodes. Currently invite-only with a waitlist, and pricing is still being finalized for a broader release.
